Knitting on holiday at Keep Cottage
Knitting on holiday, imagine having time to finish a knitting project you started ages ago, perhaps think about challenging your knitting skills by working on something a little trickier or even take up knitting for the first time.
Spending time at the cottage, really does feel as though its possible to turn back the clock, take things a little slower and relax into another world.
So join the Keep Cottage mini knitting revolution; bring your own knitting project or join our ongoing project at the cottage, where guests are creating a multi coloured (freestyle pattern – as simple or complex as you like) blanket. We have wool and needles at the cottage, so unleash your inner creative and start knitting. The only guideline is the square needs to be 150 mm x 150 mm
Local producers
On Saturday mornings, visit the Country Market, where you can buy wool produced from local sheep which is spun and dyed on the outskirts of the village if you are not a knitter, don’t worry they have some wonderful pieces for sale.
